Role Description The Storekeeper role at ChemiCotex Industries Limited is a contract, on-site position based in Dodoma. The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming goods, ensuring that items are accurately documented and stored in designated locations. This role involves managing inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with packing and dispatch of goods to support timely distribution. The Storekeeper will also coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to maintain efficient material flow and prevent stock discrepancies. Adherence to safety procedures, proper handling of equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized storage area are essential parts of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Inventory-related skills, including Inventory Control and Inventory Management, to accurately track stock levels and movements.
• Material handling skills, such as Unloading and Packing, to manage incoming and outgoing goods efficiently.
• Basic computer literacy for using inventory systems and recording stock data.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, orderly store environment.
• Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or storekeeping is an advantage.
• Relevant vocational training or certification in warehouse operations or logistics is beneficial.
