Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all warehouse operations, inventory, freight, and personnel
  • Drive operational efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement
  • Maximise warehouse capacity and shipping optimisation
  • Own customer experience, scheduling, and service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and hazardous material requirements
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control
  • Identify new facilities and grow warehouse capacity
  • Drive business development and onboard new customers
  • Collaborate with Road Freight, Clearing & Forwarding, Trading, and Fleet teams

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Promote a safe, compliant, and accident-free workplace

Requirements

  • University Degree (MBA / Accounting / Audit preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse/logistics operations
  • Proven experience managing a business unit with full P&L ownership
  • Experience with bulk and break-bulk cargo / commodities
  • Strong financial, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, SAP, and Warehouse Management Systems
  • Knowledge of import/export, transit clearance, and terminal documentation
  • International/African exposure advantageous
