About me

• I am a highly organized and results-driven Actuarial Science graduate with a Bachelor Degree in
  Actuarial Science and an Advanced Diploma in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town
  (UCT). I have experience in actuarial analysis, agricultural insurance, microinsurance research,
  teaching, finance and customer service.
• Currently, I am working as an Actuarial Analyst Intern at TAIC, where I am gaining experience in
  agricultural insurance, stakeholder engagement and business operations. I also work part-time as an
  Assistant Lecturer in Actuarial Science at the Institute of Finance Management (IFM), where I
  conduct lectures and tutorials, prepare exams and support students academically.
• I was awarded Overall Best Student in Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science for the Class of
  2023 at IFM and received ASSA A112 and A212 exemptions after completing my Advanced
  Diploma at UCT. I have completed professional courses in Data Analysis, Excel Dashboards and
  Introduction to Index Insurance.
• I am fluent in English and Swahili and have strong communication, problem-solving and analytical
  skills. I am also skilled in Microsoft Office, Excel, R Programming and Microsoft Teams.
