Job Description
Position: Junior Male Chef
Job Type: [Full-Time/Part-Time]
Location: Selous (Nyerere National Park)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef and the kitchen team in daily tasks.
- Learn and apply various cooking techniques and preparation methods.
- Prepare ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Participate in menu planning and the introduction of new dishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Attend training sessions and workshops as required.
- Provide input and feedback during team meetings.
- Ensure the highest quality of food presentation.
Requirements:
- Mandatory: Prior field training or practical experience in food preparation.
- Passion for the culinary arts.
- Familiarity with standard kitchen equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- A team player with good organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
