Overview
Iles de Paix (IDP) is a Belgian non-governmental and non-profit organisation that promotes sustainable food systems and the right to food. IDP works with small-scale family farmers and other food-system actors to advance agroecology, strengthen production, storage, processing and marketing, and foster an enabling environment through awareness raising and advocacy. Particular attention is given to the meaningful participation of women and youth.
IDP has been registered as an international NGO in Tanzania since 2015 and implements programmes in the Arusha Region. Its current portfolio includes Kilimo Endelevu Arusha, Kilimo Endelevu Arusha Plus, AgroKilimo, EcoFood II and SAFI. Implementation is undertaken in close collaboration with local and national government authorities, farmer organisations, civil-society organisations, research institutions and development partners.
IDP is recruiting a Project Coordinator to coordinate the implementation of one or two programmes within this portfolio, as assigned by the organisation.
