Overview
The Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology was established in 2010 as part of the African Institutes of Science and Technology network. Located in Arusha, it focuses on advanced scientific and technological research and postgraduate education. NM-AIST aims to develop the next generation of African scientists, engineers, and innovators who will address the continent’s most pressing development challenges through interdisciplinary approaches to science and technology.
