Reporting Accountant at TOA Tanzania

We are looking to hire a Reporting Accountant who will play a critical role in managing financial accounts and reports, maintaining strong internal and external budget controls, and supporting business operations.

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Commerce
• Must be a holder of CPA (T) or an equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong understanding of tax laws and accounting principles

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage financial transactions with accurate processing and correct entries
• Control budgets and communicate with OpCo for alignment
• Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain strong internal controls
• Ensure accurate documentation and availability of reports on demand
• Provide accurate group reports on time and ensure transfer pricing policies are updated and complied with
