Senior Accountant at Associated Supplies Limited

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. This role involves overseeing accounting processes, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting management with financial analysis within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise accounting activities to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets tailored to the distribution, wholesale, and transportation sectors.
• Coordinate with team members and management to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely submission of financial data for audit and reporting purposes.
• Support the implementation of financial controls and process improvements across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory laws and rules for financial & tax reporting
• Establish & maintain strong relationships with bank executives, auditors & local tax revenue department officials so as to identify their needs & seek full range of business solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skill Set:

• 5+ years experience in Accounting
• Must be a Bachelor Degree holder.
• Hands on knowledge of bank related issues, taxation, overall management operations etc.
• Hands on thorough experience on Tally accounting software.
• Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence and executive presence- ability to motivate team.

• Age: 30-35 years of age.
• High level of integrity and dependability.
• Strong sense of urgency and result oriented.
• Work experience in African Continent an added advantage
