Senior Accountant Payables and Project Costing at Sihotech

SIHOTECH ENGINEERING COMPANY LIMITED is hiring a Senior Accountant – Payables and Project Costing.

The key responsibilities for this role include:

• Project cost tracking and analysis (materials, labor, and overheads).
• Monitoring site-level expenses and cost allocations.
• Work-in-progress (WIP) accounting and valuation.
• Budget vs. actual analysis per project.
• Coordination with Project Managers and QS (Quantity Surveyors).
• Cost and profitability reporting per contract.
• Supplier invoice processing and payment scheduling.
• Maintaining Account Payable Schedules and ensuring vendors are paid as per agreed credit terms.
• Processing payroll in coordination with the HR Department.
• Vendor account reconciliation.
• Reviewing staff claims and requests for allowances.
• Reviewing labor payment claims.
• Aging analysis and reporting.

The essential skills required for the successful candidate are:

• Proficient in using ERP/SAP.
• Attention to details.
• Presentation skills.
• Computer Proficiency – Advanced user.
• Excellent communication skills and team coordination.

The required qualifications are:

• Bachelor of Accountancy/Finance or related field.
• Five (5) years working experience.
• Experience in construction or engineering industries added advantage.
• CPA(T) added advantage.
