CFS Operations Clerk's is to ensure tasks related to Container Freight station run smoothly and in the most effective way with focus on; ensuring accurate, safe, and efficient container and cargo handling operations within the Container Freight Station. The role supports gates and yard operations through precise documentation control,regulatory compliance, and timely reporting and acts as a key link between operations, customers, customs requirements, and internal stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform Gate In / Gate Out transactions, issues Pick-up / Delivery order & EIR
• Monitor road traffic at the gate and yard to ensure safety of all personnel at the area
• Generates internal and external reports and share with stake holders
• Verifies accuracy of inbound and outbound documentation
• Tracks incoming containers and provide support to resolve issues as necessary
• Reviewing and responding to internal/external customer queries with complete, concise, and accurate response that help to resolve issues expeditiously
• Recognize customer dissatisfaction and take authorized action to address, resolve it and prevent in the future
• Maintain an accurate outturn report and have any cargo discrepancy or shortage reported to the CFS Supervisor

Key Measures and Targets:

• Accuracy of Gate In/Gate Out records-100%accurate
• Accuracy of Gate In/Gate Out records- Zero critical documentation errors
• Timeliness of daily/weekly reports- 100% on-time submission
• Cargo discrepancy rate-Zero
• Compliance with yard and gate safety rules- Zero preventable incidents
• Volume handled vs. plan- Meet or exceed operational plan

Who We Are Looking For

Someone with:

• Working knowledge of container freight station operations
• Understanding of shipping documentation (EIR, B/L, delivery orders)
• High level of attention to detail and data accuracy
• Knowledge of customs and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in Excel, teams and Outlook
• Customer-focused mindset with professional conduct
• Reliability and accountability in shift-based operations
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking
