Job Summary
Branch Supervisor (BS) is responsible for supporting the Branch to grow and build a sustainable business, including Loan portfolio growth, quality portfolio and managing the branch operations to ensure agents management and proper controls adherence
Reporting to: Branch Manager
Essential Duties
- Control of Branch Assets and environments
- Manage the Loan Processing Function to ensure effective turnaround time and quality of loan documentation.
- Review individual and group loan application prepared by Sales Officers to ensure compliance and that all requirements have been met per policy and procedure prior to submitting to credit analyst Supervise recording and filing of all customer documents including loan securities.
- Review all branch reports and ensure are well prepared
- Developing and executing plans that will allow the branch to achieve their targets and implement strategies set by the institution.
- Review market conditions and recommend changes to the products, process and procedures.
- Regularly meet with the branch team to identify and propose solutions to issues that may affect meeting targets.
- Meet with clients to identify their needs, demands and satisfaction with FINCA Products and services. Plan sales activities together with sales officers, monitor the implementation of the sales activities as per agreed plan and provide guidance on area of improvement for better results.
- Plan and conduct performance appraisals for Branch staff and identify gap for improvement and provide appropriate support.
- Monitor and motivate the team, ensure each staff follow policy and procedures communicated by FINCA Microfinance Bank.
- Coach, Mentor and Train branch staff sales to ensure have right skills and knowledge to perform their duties and perform their duties as per laid down policies and procedures.
- Ensure all staff have performance targets and evaluations are conducted on time including managing staff performance as per policies and procedures.
- Plan, approval and Monitor sales team expenses and ensure are within the agreed budget
Qualifications
- University Degree preferably in Commerce and Management, Business Administration, Banking or any other related field.
- At least 3 years work experience in a recognized Microfinance Institution or Commercial Bank.
- Computer Literacy
