Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for Parts Administrator to be responsible for responding to all customers and parts inquiries and properly process parts orders. Parts Administrator must be highly organized and follow mine site special regulations and attend the safety trainings.
Responsibilities
- Receive parts counter enquiries by attending phones and counter customers
- Assist in setting and maintaining inventory level
- Monitor orders to anticipate late deliveries and escalate deficiencies to the manager
- Accurately identify record and order technician’s parts requests to complete work orders.
- Undertake identification of parts and preparation of information for Customer estimates
- Ensure effective communication is maintained at all times with Customers
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation
- Ensures clean and tidy functional counter area.
Requirements
- Diploma in engineering related field or other related field
- Minimum of two (2+) years’ experience as parts administrator or related role
- Ability to operate and interpret Caterpillar technical aids including SIS and dealer software
- Minimum of six month induction program in a Caterpillar dealership is a plus.
- Excellent Communication skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Driving license and experience is preferable
