Job Description
East African Breweries PLC (EABL) is East Africa’s leading branded alcohol beverage business with an outstanding collection of brands that range from beer, spirits and adult non-alcoholic drinks (ANADs), reaffirming our standing as a total adult beverage (TAB) company.

EABL is a Public Listed Company (Plc) listed on the Securities/Stock Exchange in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
Key Accountabilities
- Plan and acquire the requirement for the shift
- Team management including development and coaching
- Foster good occupational Health, Safety and Environment
- Maintain good working relation within the team and other shifts
- Taking care of assets and process on shift bases
- Cost conscious in operations
- Facilitate problem solving process
- Lead continuous Improvement initiatives at shift level/department/site level
- Foster smooth two - way effective communication
- Understand and use MMS best Practices ( Tools and Techniques) to drive Improvements and performance
- Aware of Quality triggers and Use Escalation Matrix; use it effectively on process deviation and breakdowns for support on proper Quality control
- Effective and accurate generation of records, reports and maintain.
- Ensure timely and effective usage of any new system and process that are adopted by the organization like Harford and Orbis
- Equipment's calibration to ensure data reliability though Standard Process Chart
- Upholding and advancing quality standards by ensuring Quality is maintained throughout the process
- Embrace core behavioral changes required to implement Way of Working
- Maintain 5S and hygiene on personal & working area
- Initiate and own personal development
Experience / Skills Required
- BSc in Chemistry ; Food Science and Technology; Microbiology; Biochemistry; Laboratory Biotechnology
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years in the food or beverage industry
- Hands-on experience in quality analysis or laboratory testing
