JOB PROFILE

The successful candidate will be responsible for looking after all installation, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems and equipment.

The role involves:

• Troubleshooting electrical issues
• Performing routine maintenance
• Upgrading systems as needed

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure electrical systems and equipment operate efficiently and safely.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and departments.
• Read and interpret:
  • Technical drawings
  • Schematics
  • Manuals
• Use technical documentation to understand and solve complex electrical issues.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including:
  • Wiring
  • Circuit breakers
  • Drives
  • Transformers
  • Other electrical components
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure system reliability.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical breakdowns using appropriate testing devices and tools.
• Repair or replace faulty components and wiring while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Stay updated on the latest electrical technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements.
• Be involved in ensuring that the backup system UPS is conducted.
• Ensure the safety of:

• Report defects of electrical equipment.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

• Understanding of the basics of industrial electrical systems.
• Communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum NTA Level 2 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Extensive knowledge in:
  • Electrical circuit reading
  • Electrical circuit interpretation
  • Fault tracing
  • Fault rectification
• Minimum 3 years of experience.

TERMS OF SERVICE

The successful candidate will be engaged on a permanent contract.
