Position: Mechanical Assembly Supervisor

Location: Tanzania (Africa)

Project Duration: 4 months - starting of work immediately

Role Description:

TC2 Group - Engineering & Technical Services is looking for a Mechanical Assembly Supervisor to manage on-site activities for the installation of heavy-duty crane components in Tanzania.

The supervisor will be responsible for:

Pre-assembly of three 16-inch, 85-ton crane arms on the ground

Supervision of the crane’s erection and structural armoring on site

  • Studying and implementing detailed assembly procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Overseeing all mechanical assembly work to maintain quality and compliance with engineering specifications
  • Coordinating with on-site teams, ensuring schedules are met and safety standards are strictly followed
  • Providing technical support and guidance during all stages of assembly and erection

Requirements:

  • Solid experience supervising mechanical assembly of heavy lifting structures or industrial cranes
  • Ability to review, interpret, and apply technical drawings, assembly instructions, and procedures
  • Strong on-site leadership with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Familiarity with safe lifting, rigging, and heavy equipment erection practices

Availability for a 4-month assignment in Tanzania, starting of work immediately

Good English communication skills

(other languages are a plus)
