TAKUKURU (Taasisi ya Kuzuia na Kupambana na Rushwa) is the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) in Tanzania. It is an independent government body under the President's Office responsible for preventing corruption, educating the public on its effects, and enforcing anti-corruption laws.

Position: Investigation officers II (250 posts)

Required qualifications

Academic qualifications

• Applicants should possess three years advanced diploma or undergraduate degree from recognized learning institutions in any of the following fields: Accounting, architecture, business administration, building economics/quantity surveyor, chemical processing engineering, community development, computer science/it, construction engineering, economics and planning, electrical engineering, food and nutrition, human resource management, land management and valuation, law, mechanical engineering, oil and gas engineering, procurement, project management, psychology counselling and guidance, public administration, public relation/mass communication, record management, sports science/physical education, statistics, and water engineering;
• A minimum pass of lower second class is required;
• Good working knowledge of it and computer applications;
• Registration by a relevant professional board is an added advantage.

Other qualifications

• All applicants must be citizens of Tanzania of minimum age of 18 years old and must not have attained the age of 29 years as of May, 2026.

General requirements and conditions

• Applicant must be a person of high integrity;
• Applicant must not have any criminal record;
• Applicant must submit relevant certified copies of original certificates. Submission of forged certificates or provision of false information shall be subject to legal action;
• Applicant who has previously been dismissed or terminated from the public service for any reason is not eligible to apply;
• Public servant applying for the position must channel his or her application through his/her respective employer;
• Applicant must attach certified copies of the following documents: Degree/advanced diploma certificates and academic transcripts, form iv and form vi certificates, standard vii certificate, professional certificates (where applicable), birth certificate, and one recent passport-size photograph;
• Foreign academic certificates must be certified by the relevant regulatory authorities in Tanzania (Tcu, Nactvet, Necta);
• Applicant must attach curriculum vitae (Cv), including working experience, physical address, postal address, email address, and telephone numbers;
• Applicant must submit names and reliable contacts of three referees;
• A valid national identification card (Nida) or registration number is mandatory;
• Testimonials, partial transcripts, and result slips shall not be accepted;
• An application letter must be handwritten in either kiswahili or english;
• An application that does not include all required attachments will not be considered;
• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
