JOB SUMMARY:

Matrons (Female) and Patrons (Male) are responsible for supervising student welfare, discipline, health, and pastoral care outside standard classroom hours, particularly in the school dormitories/boarding facilities.

• Department: Operations & Support (Student Welfare)
• Reports To: School Manager / Head Teacher

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pastoral Care: Provide parental guidance, counseling, and emotional support to students residing on campus.
• Health & Emergency: Monitor student health; manage the administration of prescribed medication, and escort sick students to the school clinic.
• Dormitory Supervision: Oversee morning and evening routines, ensure strict adherence to lights-out timing, and maintain absolute cleanliness in the residential halls.
• Discipline Control: Enforce school boarding regulations and report any severe behavioral concerns to the administration.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma or Certificate in Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, or Community Development.
• Prior experience working as a matron/patron in a boarding school setup.
• Mature, responsible, empathetic demeanor with high integrity.
• Willingness to reside on campus or work flexible rotational night/weekend shifts.
