Job Description
We are looking for a Hotel Receptionist.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the reception
- Follow strict Guest Check-in / Check-out procedures
- Daily Sales reporting with complete accuracy
- Update calendars, schedule bookings and meetings
- Thorough entries into Property Management System
- Answer, screen or forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/e-mail to guests
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
Required profile for job: Hotel Receptionist
- Solid written and verbal communication skills. Must be Fluent in English (WRITTEN and SPOKEN) as well as FULL command of the SWAHILI language. French or other languages is an asset.
- Minimum 1 year working experience as a Hotel Front-Office Receptionist in a “PAID” Full-Time role or equivalent.
- Intermediate/Strong working knowledge of MS-Office Suite is an asset (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook). Basic knowledge of MS-Office Suite need NOT apply.
- Must have “working” experience with Property Management Systems and Hotel Keycard Systems.
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Must have TRA EFD machine usage experience
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

We are looking for a Chef/Cooker
We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic guest focused Chef who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests. As a Chef, you are responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operation, taking over all responsibilities for cooking, baking, and pastry Kitchen and striving for the highest possible Guest satisfaction.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest possible hygiene and maintenance standards. Push for the highest degree in applied hygiene and food safety as per the ADFCA, HACCP guidelines to ensure that the food served to the Guest is of highest quality and standard.
- Support the team members directly in order to have a smooth operation.
- Create high quality and creative pastry products to satisfy the Guests.
- Control the food cost by reviewing and approving all store requisitions and direct purchases and minimizes wastage.
- Drive all menu changes, document all desserts and pastries along with the Executive Chef in coordination with the Food & Beverage Manager to keep the menus exciting.
- Participate actively to meet / maximize the department’s revenue forecast and exercise the constant control of the operational costs.
- Train all the team members under direct supervision in order to produce very high standard of bakery and pastry products in the Kitchen.
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment.
- Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.

As a Housekeeping Attendant you are responsible for daily assigned duties as instructed by Supervisors while adhering to hotel policies and procedures and your role will include key responsibilities such as:
- Receive work assignment, keys and supplies from the supervisor and sign the key log book accurately
- Clean rooms and bathrooms, performing any combination of the following duties
- Keep fire exits and stair ways clear of any obstruction
- Check and report any maintenance work required immediately
- Pick up any litter from corridors and pathways
- Vacuum carpet and upholstered furniture, dust and wipe furniture, empty ashtrays and wastebaskets
- Make bed, wash sink, bathtub, toilet, tiles, mirrors and floor and polish brass and metal
- Replenish bathroom supplies and room supplies
- Tidy and arrange neatly guest toilet articles on vanity top and spot cleans carpet when necessary
- Clean and keep the guest corridors, service pantries and service areas neat and tidy at all times
- Remove Room Service tray and trolley from guestroom and corridors
- Inform valet service to collect guests’ clothes for laundry, dry cleaning or pressing services
