Mixologist at Elewana Collection

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mixologist to join our team at Elewana Serengeti Explorer. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for creating exceptional cocktails and providing a memorable beverage experience for our guests. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills in crafting unique and innovative drinks using high-quality ingredients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and create a diverse range of cocktails and mocktails, personalized to match our guests' preferences and dietary restrictions
• Ensure all beverages are prepared and served in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain an organized and clean bar area, including equipment, glassware, and utensils
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, placing orders as needed
• Stay updated with current industry trends and techniques, regularly introducing new and innovative drink concepts
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and suggestions for their beverage choices
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to create food and drink pairings for special events and themed evenings
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring the responsible service of alcohol
• Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a high-end establishment
• In-depth knowledge of mixology techniques, Spherification, Smoking & Flavoring, Foaming & Clarification, Infusion current trends
• Strong creativity and ability to develop unique and visually appealing drink presentations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, their characteristics, and appropriate pairings
• Familiarity with inventory management and ordering systems is a plus
• Must be of legal drinking age and hold a valid certification for responsible alcohol service
