Job Description
Effectively implemented Benefits Management plans and incentive scheme
- Implement and maintain Group Life and Medical Insurance schemes in line with Airtel Tanzania policies.
- Implement Bodaboda scheme, airtime and handset benefit and reward and recognition programs.
- Ensure accuracy in commission payouts and other incentives linked to individual/team performance.
- Develop and review R&R scheme to drive performance and productivity across the business.
Cultivating positive Organizational Culture
- Develop culture change activities that shape values, behaviors, and practices that define the Airtel ways of working environment.
- Manage budgets for culture and engagement activities.
- Regularly collecting and analyzing employee feedback to identify areas for improvement and address concerns.
- Design and execute employee events, workshops, and team-building activities.
Enhance employee communication through various channels
- Ensure clear, consistent, and transparent communication across the organization to foster a sense of connection and belonging.
- Plan and execute internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engage.
- Collaborate with leadership to align townhall meeting agenda with business objectives.
- Create and manage employee recognition awards during the meeting.
Employee engagement strategies implemented
- Support the development of employee engagement initiatives.
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
- Develop processes, systems and procedures that facilitate and support the implementation of engagement initiatives.
- Communicate employee engagement activities to all parties.
- Monitor their implementation and ensure that the objectives are achieved
Employee engagement surveys conducted with maximum response from employees
- Communicate all respondents’ details to Group as requested.
- Continuously update staff on engagement survey activities.
- Mobilise respondents to complete the survey.
- Monitor, track and communicate response rate and escalate nonresponse for follow up.
Employee Performance Management support
- Support performance management activities including submission of KRA’s, within the departments.
- Support implementation of PIP programme and follow up on key HR interventions within the departments.
- Provide regular reports and highlight key issues for attention and follow up.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications & Functional/Technical Skills
- Degree in Social Sciences/Human Resource Management or other relevant qualifications.
- Excellent organizational communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Advance proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Employee relations skills.
- Knowledge of employee engagement drivers and strategies.
- Knowledge of government regulations in as far as they impact employee’s welfare.
- High degree of professionalism, maturity and confidentiality.
Relevant Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience, with at least 3 in a HR generalist role supporting Reward and Compensation, Employee engagement, employee relations and other HR Operations
