Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Executive to support the organization's human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll administration, compliance with Tanzanian labour laws, training and development, and HR administration. The ideal candidate will contribute to creating a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate recruitment and selection processes.
  • Prepare job advertisements and shortlist candidates.
  • Conduct interviews and reference checks.
  • Manage employee onboarding and induction programs.

Employee Relations

  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Support conflict resolution and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain employee records and personnel files.

HR Administration

  • Prepare employment contracts and HR correspondence.
  • Manage leave administration and attendance records.
  • Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.

Payroll & Statutory Compliance

  • Coordinate payroll processing.
  • Ensure timely remittance of PAYE, NSSF, WCF, NHIF, and other statutory deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with Tanzania Employment and Labour Relations Act (ELRA).

Performance Management & Training

  • Coordinate performance appraisal processes.
  • Identify training needs and organize employee development programs.
  • Monitor employee performance improvement plans.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Promote workplace health and safety initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
  • Support HR audits and regulatory inspections.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Law, or related field.
  • Professional HR certification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong knowledge of Tanzanian Labour Laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with payroll administration and statutory compliance.

  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in both English and Swahili.
