Job Overview: As a Digital Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, tracking, and optimizing our digital marketing campaigns across various channels. You will play a key role in enhancing our online presence, reaching target audiences, and driving engagement and conversions. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team and contribute to the success of our digital marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Campaign Management:
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Manage end-to-end digital campaigns, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
Content Creation:
- Create engaging and relevant content for digital platforms, including social media, blogs, and email campaigns.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure visually appealing and impactful content.
Social Media Management:
- Maintain and enhance our social media presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor social media trends and competitors, and implement strategies to increase followers and engagement.
SEO and Website Management:
- Optimize website content for search engines to improve organic rankings.
- Work closely with the web development team to ensure the website is user-friendly and aligned with digital marketing goals.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools to measure and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns.
- Generate regular reports on key metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Email Marketing:
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including creating newsletters and promotional emails.
- Segment email lists and personalize content for targeted audiences.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Officer or similar role.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, SEO, email marketing, and content creation.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) and experience in data analysis.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Tanzanian market and cultural nuances is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
