Job Overview: As a Digital Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, tracking, and optimizing our digital marketing campaigns across various channels. You will play a key role in enhancing our online presence, reaching target audiences, and driving engagement and conversions. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team and contribute to the success of our digital marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Digital Campaign Management:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to achieve company objectives.
    • Manage end-to-end digital campaigns, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
  2. Content Creation:

    • Create engaging and relevant content for digital platforms, including social media, blogs, and email campaigns.
    • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure visually appealing and impactful content.
  3. Social Media Management:

    • Maintain and enhance our social media presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
    • Monitor social media trends and competitors, and implement strategies to increase followers and engagement.
  4. SEO and Website Management:

    • Optimize website content for search engines to improve organic rankings.
    • Work closely with the web development team to ensure the website is user-friendly and aligned with digital marketing goals.
  5. Analytics and Reporting:

    • Utilize analytics tools to measure and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns.
    • Generate regular reports on key metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  6. Email Marketing:

    • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including creating newsletters and promotional emails.
    • Segment email lists and personalize content for targeted audiences.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Officer or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, SEO, email marketing, and content creation.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) and experience in data analysis.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the Tanzanian market and cultural nuances is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
