Marketing Officer

Nature and Scope

The successful candidate will report to General Manager. He/She will be responsible for all operation issues related marketing of Joint Enterprises member’s products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to promote KCJE Limited's services and products.
• Conduct market research to identify member needs, market trends, and competitive landscape within the cashew and sesame sector.
• Create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, digital content, and advertisements.
• Manage social media presence and online marketing efforts.
• Organise and participate in promotional events, workshops, and trade fairs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members, stakeholders, and Key industry partners in the cashew sector.
• Monitor and analyse marketing campaign performance and report on results.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field (Economics, Investment, etc) from a recognised University/Institution.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a marketing or analogous role is a significant advantage, ideally within an agricultural cooperative in the cashew industry.
• Proven experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A comprehensive understanding of the operational framework of cooperatives in Tanzania is a significant advantage.
