Accountant

In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting to support the export operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage financial transactions related to export operations, including invoicing, payments, and receipts.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting for export operations, including revenue projections and expense management
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and standards, including documentation requirements and tax regulations.
• Reconcile export-related accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
• Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management to support business performance evaluations and decision-making processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the export industry or international trade.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex financial data accurately.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Swahili & English.
