• Bachelor degree in law or other related fields.
• A minimum of 2 ears of experience in a regulated Field.
• Added advantage working in Telecommunication Industry & Banking Industry experience in handling regulatory matters

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure company compliance to relevant laws, regulations, rules, guidelines, circulars and internal policies governing the business.
• Provide regulatory guidance and support to the business on daily activities falling within the portfolio.
• Ensure timely application and renewal of all licenses required for the business.
• Secure relevant regulatory approvals and concessions timely to allow smooth business operations.
• Prepare regulatory compliance matrix for tracking and monitor compliance to various regulatory obligations and tasks.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of reports to TCRA, BOT, UCSAF and other relevant stakeholders.
• Provide regulatory support to the business on implementation of key projects emanating from relevant regulators and within the company.
• Ensure all regulatory correspondences with Regulatory Authorities are accurate, comprehensive and represent company positions
• Provide close follow up of day-to-day operations of the business that have regulatory impact.
• Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the line Manager.
