Sales Officer(FMCG)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Sales Specialist to join our fast-paced FMCG team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG products. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and trends in the FMCG industry.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling FMCG products.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies.
• Provide product knowledge and training to customers and retailers.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
• Resolve customer complaints and inquiries promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 2 to 3 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Experience in sales of FMCG products like soap, sanitary wear, and baby diapers is an added advantage.
