WAREHOUSE SECURITY

JOB OVERVIEW

 As a Warehouse Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all company properties, personnel, and assets within the warehouse premises. Your primary duties will include conducting regular checks, monitoring access points, maintaining inventory accuracy, and identifying and mitigating potential risks such as fire hazards and theft. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively are essential for success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES.

1. Stock Take Accuracy.

Ensure daily and monthly stock takes are conducted on time and achieve a 100% match with the system.

2. Goods Safety.

Report any discrepancies to the ERP manager on a daily basis.

3. Maintain Public Security.

Ensure the safety of all company properties and maintain public security within the warehouse premises.

4. Fire and Theft Risk Management

Regularly inspect fire equipment to ensure functionality and identify potential fire and theft risks.

5. Issuing Procedures

Verify quantities during issuing processes and collect gate passes accordingly.

6. Staff Monitoring

Monitor staff to prevent unauthorized removal of company goods.

7. Handover Procedures

Complete necessary handover tasks at the end of each shift.

8. Container Truck Inspection

Conduct thorough inspections of container trucks before they leave the premises

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS.

•  Minimum of a Senior High School Diploma
• Proficiency in English
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
•  Prior experience in warehouse safety and security operations
•  Previous experience in a warehouse environment is required
•  Strong physical condition
