Job Description

Tindwa Medical and Health Service is a locally registered company that provides Emergency Medical Services, Waste and Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety both locally and internationally, and Medical Supplies Services. The company is currently looking for a dedicated and self-motivated volunteer to work in its Procurement Department.

Required Qualifications:

  • A degree in Procurement, Business Administration in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
  • At least one year of working experience in procurement.
  • Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Computer literacy is required.
  • Applicants should demonstrate high levels of discipline, strong communication and interpersonal skills, analytical abilities, innovative problem-solving skills, and effective time management.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs.
  • Research potential vendors.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts).
  • Conduct market research to identify pricing trends.
  • Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices.
  • Prepare cost analyses.
  • Follow up with suppliers as needed to confirm or adjust orders.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Procurement Manager.
