ABOUT YOU
You are an experienced leader passionate about scaling impact in education. You excel at managing teams, fostering accountability, and enabling others to perform at their best. You thrive in dynamic environments, using real-time data to inform decisions, guide problem-solving, and drive continuous improvement. You are comfortable working with government officials and engaging stakeholders at various levels (region, ward, and school). You also bring a steady hand to the operational side of the work, including processes, installations, vendor oversight, and float stock management. You are confident in raising difficult issues with Imagine Worldwide’s leadership, concisely articulating challenges, and engaging in solution-oriented discussions.
YOUR GOALS
As a MsingiTek Program Manager, at scale, you will lead a team of 5 Field Officers (each overseeing 10 schools) to deliver high-quality implementation across the 50 schools in your portfolio. Your overarching goal is that the average learner in your portfolio receives at least 100 minutes of quality learning each week, achieved through strong field support, functional equipment, and reliable, well-facilitated sessions.
Success will be measured by:
- Time on task (both weekly and cumulatively).
- Equipment functionality.
- Data accuracy.
- Strength of school and government ownership across all 50 schools.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Expectation Setting: Set clear expectations and track progress, using data to provide feedback and drive improvement.
- Field Coaching: Visit each Field Officer weekly in the field, troubleshooting challenges (incl. basic software/hardware issues), reinforcing best practices, and mentoring for stronger execution.
- Culture: Foster a culture of accountability, trust, learning, and problem-solving within the team.
- Quality Oversight: Ensure high-quality implementation by monitoring time on task, hardware functionality/breakage, stock levels, and school engagement (attendance) across your portfolio of 50 schools.
- Data-Driven Intervention: Use data to identify risks, trends, address gaps, and drive targeted interventions in collaboration with Imagine Worldwide and government counterparts.
- Government Representation: Represent the MsingiTek in existing government meetings as per the annual calendar, and on a need basis, ensuring alignment with government priorities.
- Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with education officials and community stakeholders to foster long-term program ownership.
- Logistics & Stock: Plan and manage the district swap process, monitoring Field Officers’ reporting of broken equipment and coordinating efficient swap runs using ISP float stock.
- Warehouse Oversight: Oversee float stock at the district ISP warehouse, including accurate monthly stock counts, clear separation of functional vs. broken units, zero shrink, and timely, accurate data management.
- Vendor Management: Act as an accountability partner to VETA during cage production, ensuring reliable stock-taking, responsible use of raw materials, and early flagging of delays or quality concerns.
- Project Management: Project-manage renovations and installations including vendor management sequencing renovations, cage installations, solar installations, tablet installations, and ensuring the Imagine Worldwide programs and supply chain teams are alerted to bottlenecks.
- Installation Lead: Lead and perform tablet installations, ensuring accurate setup and scanning (by Field Officers).
- New Cohorts: For upcoming cohorts, conduct school assessments to inform tablet/solar orders and to begin planning renovations for new schools coming online in their districts.
- Reporting: Participate in weekly check-ins with Imagine Worldwide, sharing data, implementation insights, priorities and, most importantly, transparently sharing risks, challenges and presenting solutions.
