The Warehouse Operator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations this includes receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire warehouse operation, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Ensure all incoming and outgoing goods are accurate and timely, verifying quantities and documentation.
• Optimize storage space and layout to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
• Manage stock levels to avoid overstocking or shortages, ensuring the availability of raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using systems.
• Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Monitor inventory aging and ensure proper rotation of products.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including HACCP standards.
• Implement and maintain warehouse safety protocols to minimize risks and accidents.
• Conduct inspections of storage areas to ensure goods are stored in optimal conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity).
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any non-conformance issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Operate and oversee the use of all warehouse equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and arrange for repairs or replacements as needed.

Requirements

• Certificate or diploma in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations.
