National Board of Accountants & Auditors (NBAA) is the statutory professional body in Tanzania responsible for regulating the accountancy and auditing profession. Established under the Auditors and Accountants (Registration) Act No. 33 of 1972 (as amended), the NBAA began operations on 15 January 1973 and operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs.
