Group Chief Executive Officer at CCBRT Tanzania

CCBRT is seeking a Group Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic and operational leadership across its newly established three-entity structure, ensuring sustainable growth, high-quality healthcare delivery, and long-term organizational impact. This senior executive role oversees institutional strategy, financial sustainability, governance, stakeholder engagement, and the integration of CCBRT's NGO, hospital, medical college, and commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous development of CCBRT's long-term strategic vision.
• Provide leadership across the NGO, Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG), and Company Limited by Shares (CLS) entities, ensuring alignment of operations and objectives.
• Drive financial sustainability through revenue growth, operational efficiency, and cost management.
• Strengthen partnerships with government institutions, regulatory bodies, development partners, and private sector stakeholders.
• Represent CCBRT in national and regional health policy discussions and strategic collaborations.
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across clinical, academic, corporate, and social impact functions.
• Build leadership capacity, succession planning, and a culture of accountability, integrity, and excellence.
• Ensure effective governance, Board engagement, institutional compliance, and enterprise risk management.
• Promote integrated service delivery while preventing organizational silos and resource fragmentation.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Chief Executive Officer, Country Director, Regional Director, or in a similar executive leadership role.
• Experience managing large, complex organizations, preferably with multiple business entities.
• Strong financial, commercial, and strategic management expertise.
• Experience in healthcare systems, social enterprises, public-private partnerships, or similarly complex environments.
• Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation, institutional growth, and long-term sustainability.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging government, boards, donors, regulators, private sector partners, and communities.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams while fostering leadership development and organizational excellence.
• High integrity, resilience, strategic thinking, and strong mission-driven leadership.
