Job Description: Partnerships & Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue-generating partnerships and managing commercial relationships across Busara Promotions platforms, including Sauti za Busara and FuTopia Festival.
The role focuses on execution and conversion by turning opportunities into concrete partnerships,
managing sponsor relationships, and developing sales channels through packages and relationships with hotels and tour operators. The Partnerships & Sales Manager builds and maintains a strong pipeline, closes deals, and ensures the delivery of partner deliverables.
Qualifications
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships in areas such as Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships.
- Experience in client-focused roles, including Account Management and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong Analytical Skills for assessing partnership performance, market opportunities, and sales data.
- Excellent Communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and clear written reporting.
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or fundraising, ideally within the arts, culture, or non-profit sectors.
- Proven ability to meet revenue or partnership targets and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfort working in a multicultural environment and engaging with international partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Arts Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
