JOB VACANCY – HR MANAGER 5+WORKING EXPERIENCE 

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven HR Manager to lead and manage our Human Resources function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and systems.
• Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding and employee retention.
• Oversee employee attendance, leave management, payroll and personnel records.
• Manage performance appraisal, KPIs and employee development.
• Handle disciplinary matters, grievances and employee relations professionally.
• Ensure compliance with Tanzania labour laws and employment regulations.
• Coordinate workplace health, safety and employee welfare matters.
• Develop succession planning and staff development programmes.
• Advise management on HR matters and workforce planning.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Lead and supervise the HR team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in HR Management, preferably in a medium to large organization.
• Demonstrated experience managing a substantial workforce.
• Strong knowledge of Tanzania labour laws and HR best practices.
• Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management and disciplinary procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
• Good computer skills and experience using HR systems/software.
• Experience with OHS/WIMS compliance will be an added advantage.
