Job Description

We’re looking for a dynamic, strategic, and people-oriented HR Business Partner to support HR and administrative operations.

This role serves as a trusted partner to management driving recruitment, compliance, policy implementation, and HR process excellence while ensuring a cohesive, people-centered culture across both hospitality brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for management and department heads.
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding to ensure the right talent mix and cultural alignment.
  • Oversee HR compliance, including contracts, statutory contributions (NSSF, PAYE), and adherence to Tanzanian labour laws.
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies, standard operating procedures, and performance management systems.
  • Manage HR information systems and maintain accurate staff records and documentation.
  • Prepare and present HR reports, data, and dashboards to management for decision-making.
  • Partner with department heads to support workforce planning, engagement, and development initiatives.
  • Supervise the Employee Relations & Culture function, ensuring grievances are handled professionally and in line with company policies.
  • Champion professionalism, consistency, and integrity in all HR communication and decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or business partner capacity.
  • Strong understanding of Tanzanian labour laws and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record in recruitment, policy development, and HR reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in HR systems (Odoo or similar HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior experience in the hospitality or service industry is highly preferred.
