Laboratory Technician at Twiga Cement

Areas of Responsibility: As Assigned

Reports To: Laboratory Superintendent

Specific Knowledge: A minimum of three (3) years working experience in a cement factory

Main Duties

• Monitor all quality control routine activities from mining to the packing plant by ensuring proper sample collection, analysis, test result recording, interpretation, and timely communication of findings to responsible teams.
• Maintain laboratory methods and procedures for both chemical and physical testing sections.
• Manage shift workers during assigned shifts and communicate feedback to the Supervisor, Quality Manager, or Process Manager.
• Advise on the maintenance and improvement of laboratory methods and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and all applicable statutory regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Heidelberg Materials Group business conduct standards, compliance policies, and guidelines.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Requirements (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of chemistry and computer literacy.

Experience

• Minimum of three (3) years of working experience in a cement factory.

Reporting Line

• Reports directly to the Laboratory Superintendent.
