Telesales Agent at MOGO Tanzania

The Telesales Agent is responsible for contacting potential and existing clients by phone, presenting products or services, and updating lead statuses in the ERP system. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage client follow-ups effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Receive new cases assigned by the Team Lead.

Call clients to introduce products/services and record outcomes.

Update case status in ERP based on client response:

Interested clients (visiting within the week): Move case to Stage 2, collect information/documents, verify NIDA number and client details, and update follow-up date/comments.

• Not interested clients: Cancel the case.
• Clients interested but visiting later: Keep case under New and update follow-up date/comments.
• Ensure accurate documentation of client information and maintain professional communication.
• Collaborate with the Team Lead and Team Captainsfor case reassignment and follow-up.
• Meet daily/weekly call targets and maintain high-quality customer interactions

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in telesales, customer service, or call center operations.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet performance targets.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an added advantage.
