Job Description
Description of duties
- Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards
- Prepare and serve mocktails, smoothie and other non-alcoholic beverages
- Develop new seasonal recipes and menus and keep up with the latest trends
- Properly handle and maintain all equipment
- Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
- Monitor stock levels and order ingredients, supplies and equipment
- Prepare orders quickly and efficiently
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings
- Observe relevant health and safety standards
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
Training, skills and qualification
- Basic Barista training related to coffee and non-beverages
- Basic coffee knowledge, such as how to prepare common coffee beverages, grinding processes, and flavor differences
Language
Fluent in reading and spoken English
